Porsche Design Tec Flex

Remember the very first Porsche Design writing tool? It's now available in a very modern-looking black. Crafted from stainless steel, which is then finished with PVD coating, each pen also features a scratch-resistant PVD-coated gripping section. The Tec Flex  P'3110 is available in a fountain pen with an 18-karat gold nib (fine, medium or broad), rollerball, ballpoint and mechanical pencil, all made in Germany. The ballpoints and the mechanical pencils each have a very tactile quality: when you push the mechanism, the stainless steel weave on the barrel responds to the pressure and contracts, then returns to its original position once the refill or lead appears. Prices range from $295 to $975.

Forever Icy

The new special edition Pelikan Eternal Ice is a tribute to the Arctic’s everlasting ice, with its cool color and palladium accents. The collection includes a piston-filled fountain pen with a rhodium-plated 18-karat gold nib, a rollerball and a ballpoint, ranging in price from $500 to $600. Eternal Ice is part of Pelikan's Beauties of Nature series.

Fire!

The newest limited edition from Pelikan is the third fountain pen in their series "Achievements of Civilization." Fire, as it is called, is beautifully designed and captures the essence of its name with understated elegance. A bowl of flames is depicted on the clip, the 18-karat gold nib (fine, medium and broad sizes) and the cap crown. The brass and lacquer body is a gorgeous shade of red, with every flame on the barrel laser engraved then plated with 24-karat gold. The gemstone "sparks" on the barrel are topaz. Just 500 fountain pens are available worldwide, each priced at $1,875. I think this is another winner from Pelikan.
